Established 1979 and led by yachtsman Sean Langman, Noakes is one of only three remaining Sydney Harbour shipyards (Berrys Bay), plus a second yard at Port Huon, Tasmania. A full-service haul-out and refit operation - 80t travel lift, 160t slipway and a floating dry dock - with globally recognised heritage/timber restoration expertise (Maluka, Morna, the Rosman ferries) and long-term Royal Australian Navy and NSW Government contracts. On-site shipwrights, riggers, painters, engineers and fabricators handle everything from dinghies to tall ships and 80m vessels.
